CONSTRUCTION STARTS ON WESTLAKE PROFESSIONAL PARK DEVELOPMENT

Smith Mountain Lake, VA (June 9, 2006) – The Willard Companies announced plans for the Westlake Professional Park development at Smith Mountain Lake.

The 25,000 sq. ft. Westlake Professional Park project will resemble the quality and masonry of Westlake Towne Center designed in a 1920s-style motif. Westlake Professional Park will consist of 7 individually housed buildings ranging from 2,000 – 5,000 sq. ft. featuring brick, hardiplank siding, crosswalks and Grand Manor asphalt shingles.

The estimated $6.6 million project will be located in the Westlake Towne Center and adjacent to Carilion’s planned Westlake Athletic Center and the Smith Mountain Lake Assisted Living facility. The official ground breaking started earlier this spring and the company projects a completion date of Winter 2007.

The Willard Companies is the umbrella for Willard Construction of Roanoke Valley, Inc., Prudential Waterfront Properties, The Waterfront, The Water’s Edge, and The Westlake Golf & Country Clubs, and The Boardwalk. The companies are involved in building, developing, marketing and country clubs. The Company also owns Westlake Towne Center, Smith Mountain Building Supply and Westlake Cinema.
